You can maintain the finish by periodically cleaning with a coat of Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner, which will help to keep the wood looking its best. If the chair begins is scratched, you can sand it lightly with a fine-grit sandpaper and then apply a thin coat of Osmo Polyx Oil, please read product application instructions carefully, any damage resulting from improper restoration will not be covered by our warranty.
The Dune chair was initially designed as part of the renovation project for the Le Parlementaire restaurant at Quebec's National Assembly. The success of the chair's distinctive backrest, carved from a solid block of wood to resemble the sweeping crest of a sand dune, led to the development of a full collection of seating inspired by the same design concept.
