Our furniture is made with great care and craftsmanship. Our goal is to create the perfect handmade piece for every customer. However, as wood is a natural material, each board has its own unique coloration and grain structure, resulting in a finished piece that is one-of-a-kind. While we strive to accurately portray our furniture on our website, please be aware that the final product may differ slightly from the images shown due to these natural variations in wood. We believe that these natural variations only enhance the beauty and uniqueness of your handmade piece.
We work with natural oils because we believe it ages best. It is also easier to care for and maintain, please follow our product maintenance instructions to make sure your piece stays beautiful over its entire lifespan.
Our website currently does not accept online transactions, we prefer making direct contact with you and answering all your questions before processing a payment. After having added your selection to the cart please go through our checkout process and click through “request quote”. With your information we can submit a full quote which will include shipping fees to your address. Please take a minute to familiarize yourself with our Terms and Conditions. Your submission implies that you have accepted these terms. After submitting your request, you will receive a confirmation by email. We will be in touch with you as soon as possible. We take an initial 50% deposit on the order to initiate production, the rest will be requested on delivery. We accept wire transfers, Interac e-transfers or credit cards.
All lead times correspond to the published lead times on our website. The lead times are estimated, and products can occasionally become backordered or delayed. Custom projects may require more time than published lead times. Lead times are calculated from the date of the receipt of first payment.
Customers may cancel or modify their order up to 48 hours after having submitted their order. Any requests to cancel/modify an order beyond that grace period will not be accepted. Please contact us at email@example.com and we will modify the order or cancel it and issue a refund.
Given the artisanal nature of our furniture, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We will replace any defective or missing parts at no additional cost.
Upon delivery, please take a moment to examine the pieces with our delivery expert. We take great care to protect your furniture during transportation, but accidents can happen, and we are happy to replace any damaged parts or pieces. If the product was shipped in a crate or box via a shipping service such as FedEx, UPS, Canada Post, or any other external shipping service, please inspect the condition of the box your order came in before opening it. If you receive a package in a damaged condition, please take photos documenting the damage before opening the box. After opening the box, if the furniture is damaged, take photos of the furniture and report the issue to us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of receiving your package. If the product is confirmed to be defective, we will send you a replacement and arrange for the defective furniture to be reclaimed at our cost.
Wood is a dynamic material that undergoes changes throughout its lifespan due to fluctuations in temperature and humidity. As a result, the wood grain may expand, shrink, or even bend in various ways. Our models are meticulously designed to accommodate this natural movement of wood, ensuring their longevity. However, it's important to note that wood remains a natural and somewhat unpredictable material that may occasionally develop cracks or warp unexpectedly.
To address such occurrences, we provide a warranty to safeguard your purchase. For residents of Quebec and Ontario, we offer a 5-year warranty for tables and 1 year for chairs, stools, and benches. Within this period, we are committed to replacing or repairing any defective parts. For our customers outside of Quebec and Ontario, we provide a one-year warranty covering all of our models.
The warranty does not apply to damages caused by:
Normal wear and tear due to daily use.
Handling by anyone other than Vaste personnel or our shipping and handling service.
Failure to follow the provided usage and maintenance instructions at the time of purchase.
Attempts at repairs and restorations.
Improper storage or use by the buyer, including temperature changes (non-climate-controlled environment).
