Solid Wood
At Vaste, we work almost exclusively with solid wood and natural oils for our furniture. This means your pieces will require a little extra attention over the years, but it also means they will be infinitely refurbishable. A well cared for Vaste piece should out live your grandchildren. To best maintain the surface of your table, we suggest using placemats during meals and following the maintenance instructions below:
Solid Wood Daily Care:
Clean with a clean, damp cloth, then wipe with a dry cloth to thoroughly dry the surface. Occasionally, or as needed, use Osmo Cleaning Soap (diluted 1:10 with water) to remove more stubborn stains. Household cleaners that may contain harsh chemicals, alcohol, or ink removers should never be used on the surface.
Solid Wood Medium to Long-Term Care:
To restore the original luster to a surface that has developed a patina, you can use Osmo Wax Cleaner. Apply with a clean, white cloth over the entire surface, then wipe in the direction of the wood grain using the same cloth. The table will be dry to the touch in 2 hours and ready for use after 24 hours.

Nord
The Nord collection was first conceived in 2012 as a precursor to the launch of Vaste. Its centerpiece is the Nord chair, designed to promote an engaged sitting position while also ensuring long-lasting comfort. The chair's dynamic lines, resulting from these principles and combined with Nordic design aesthetics, give the Nord its unique character. The collection includes chairs with and without armrests, a bench, and a table.
