Tile Rug

In stock: ready to ship

Designed by Montreal-based studio Mark Krebs, this rug is part of a collection created in partnership with skilled weavers in Northern India. The tile collection is a hand woven pile rug. Featuring a ‘double back’ loom contstruction which makes the rug incredibly durable and flexible. In simple terms, this rug will last a very long time. After weaving, the tile pattern is hand carved by the weavers with sheers (think of a much larger version of clippers at a hairdresser). The tile heights alternate slightly which creates subtle shadows that shift as the light changes throughout your day.z
